Woke up at 5:30 this morning..it's been cool here so Judy has the AC off and the window fans in...nice to wake up to a fresh farm smell. Found a beautiful poem that Phil had written for me during the night...he was awake and watched me sleeping. It's been a while since he has left me such a beautiful note.. I will share it later but not today. Got on the Wii and found a new low for me 122.8#. Probably because I'd had a great day yesterday food wise.

Late this morning we all went into town for the 4th of July town parade. Alex was marching with the High School Band. As parade's go it was pretty good.. lots of tractors, trucks, politician running for office, school groups, local groups, fire and rescue equipment...it was fun but seemed to go on and on forever.

We did get to meet Alex's new boy friend and found him to be a very nice fellow. He rode and sat with us during the parade.. came back to the house for a late lunch then they left for a date. The weather is starting to heat up so tonight we will probably wish the AC was on.

Talked with Martha this afternoon.. she is in Amsterdam.. then we watched the first time trial for the Tour de France. Was fun to watch Lance Armstrong do so well..he came in 4th...but best of all he was ahead of his team mate from last year that won the race.

Tomorrow early AM we leave for Indianapolis. Will be visiting Todd's family in Brownsburg for next couple of days.
