Last night I first watched the Macy Firework's show in New York City... Wonderful display..think that Bonnie was watching the same one..but she was actually in New York City. Then from our 4th floor window we watched the Brownsburg Indiana display as they burst into the air (above the trees) but did not get to see the low ones.
As usual up early this morning. Went downstairs for a good breakfast...Phil always enjoys the waffle maker but I stuck with my fruit & oatmeal. Then it was computer time reading all the blogs and lots of internet stuff about yesterdays Tour de France
About 10 we drove back to Todd's house. The six of us went to Squealers..a bar-b-que place that Jessica works at for lunch (yes, I carried my own veggy burger sandwich in my pocket and ordered a dish of brocilli to go with it) then we were off to the bookstore for some shopping while waiting for the movies to start. We girls... Joyce, Jessica and I went to see the new Twilight movie "Eclipse". As it was Joyce birthday today this was her choice... I was surprised at how much I liked it and now have added the first 2 of this series to my netflick list for when we get home. The guys, Todd, Chris and Phil all went to see Iron Man 2. This was a repeat for Phil but he enjoyed it more the second time.
Went back to their house for awhile then back to our room as we had food in the fridge to eat for supper. ..and also its nice to watch our own TV and use the computers. We can take our time in the morning as when we leave here we have less than a 2 hour drive to Winchester where we will be staying for the next 5 nights.
