Up at 6:30 this morning... took our time before checking out and making our way to Winchester. As we drove through New Castle we saw the cemetery where Philip's paternal grand and great grand parents plus other siblings are buried. It didn't take us to long to find right section where we took picture of the stones so he could do some research now that he has the correct dates.

We pulled into the Randolph Hotel about 11:30 and found Phil's buddy Don just pulling out to go over to the school to set up for tomorrows guitar seminar. The Steel Guitar convention does not start until Thursday but they have several events going on tomorrow. As I write this Phil is at the restaurant next door playing music with a large group of musicians that are already here.

During the drive I had a chance to talk with twin, Martha (she is in France) we discussed the Tour de France and I gave her an update on her cell phone voicemails..btw I just checked again and still no new messages. Also talked with my sister Betty who is back in Florida..guess the weather has not been very good since we left town.

I was not to happy with our new hotel as again we can not get the Versus Channel to watch the tour de France... and then I could not get the Internet on my computer. After a couple of hours working with their techician they found the problem.. a wire was in the wrong place. He kept telling me it was my problem... no way I said, as this computer has connected all over the US & Europe. I was not a very happy camper until he resolved the problem.

Tonight I have started to read the book, Fern Michael, "Fool me Once". I downloaded this to my laptop back in May while in California. It's not quite as good as having a Sony Reader but seems easy to read.... Who knows maybe after reading this I may download another one.

We did make a Walmart trip late this afternoon and now have our food for the next few days... so much healthier for us to eat in our room.. we do have a fridge and microwave...Know that Phil will end up eating some meals "with the guys" but I plan for all mine to be right here in my room.

It's nice to be back in Indiana..the corn is so high..they could say neck high instead of knee high by the 4th of July.
