Slept in a bit today...up at 8:30... this morning we took a drive thru downtown Columbus to check out the new building etc...cruising down Washington St....and on out to see my brother, Joseph, at White Oak Lake. Was great to catch up on family news with him and especially to see pictures of his latest Great Grandchild Tommy.
Then we did some computer stuff and he showed me some new great websites.
This afternoon we four Benders went to the movies and saw Knight & Day ..the critics have not had rave reviews on this movie but we all really enjoyed it. It's an action/comedy with a new thrill every minute..reminded me of Indiana Jones.
The guys have been doing alot of practice for tomorrows play date at Silver Oaks, a retirement center here in Columbus. They are putting on a show tomorrow and next Tuesday after which we will be headed back down to Florida.
I have been doing good with my vegan food plan while on the road. I carry most of my own food with me...adding in whatever vegetables and fruits our hosts have fixed for meals. It's generally the protein part of the meal that I have to use my own foods. Am anxious to get home where I can weigh on my own scales. Alitiza's scale shows that I have not gained weight on this trip but then its not ditigal. Oh well will be home soon.
